What can Fond see about my money?
Amounts are end-to-end encrypted on your device — balances, transactions, goal targets and debt sums reach our servers as ciphertext we cannot read. Titles, categories, dates and currencies stay readable: that is what powers reminders and the assistant.
Is Fond free?
Yes. Vaults, goals, debts, subscriptions, income and spending — with end-to-end encryption — are free, including one AI-assisted bot entry an hour. Fond Pro removes the hourly cap and adds voice logging, receipt scanning, flexible subscriptions and crypto currencies.
Do I need Telegram to use Fond?
No. Sign in on the web with Google or Apple and use everything in the browser. Telegram adds the fastest way to log — text the bot and it files the entry — and a native mobile app is planned.
What happens if I lose my recovery key?
Your encrypted amounts become unreadable — for you, for us, for anyone. That is the design: no backdoor exists. Keep the recovery key somewhere safe; it is the only way into your data on a new device.
Can I track money together with someone?
Yes — vaults, goals and debts can be shared. Every member sees the shared item’s records and amounts, still end-to-end encrypted with a key each member holds.
Does Fond connect to my bank?
No, deliberately. Fond records money you keep elsewhere — banks, wallets, cash — from what you tell it. No bank credentials, no transaction feeds, nothing to leak; logging through the bot takes seconds.

About Fond
Fond is a personal finance tracker. You record where your money already sits — bank accounts, crypto wallets, cash — earmark parts of it toward goals, and keep track of debts, subscriptions, income and everyday spending. Fond only stores what you enter. It never connects to your bank, never initiates payments and never moves money.
Fond has no passwords. You sign in with Telegram, Google or Apple, and the account you sign in with is your Fond account.
When you sign in with Google, Fond receives only your name, email address and profile picture. It uses them solely to create your account, recognise you when you return, and show your name in the app. Fond requests no other Google data, does not use Google user data for advertising, and does not sell or share it with third parties.
